Air Astana has exciting news for travelers looking to explore the stunning city of Frankfurt! The airline has announced the launch of new flight services connecting Almaty International Airport to Frankfurt Airport starting June 1, 2025. With tickets already available for booking, passengers can look forward to thrice-weekly flights operated by the carrier’s modern A321LR fleet.

This new service comes as a great addition to Air Astana's existing flight routes to Frankfurt from Kazakhstan’s Astana International Airport and Manshuk Mametova International Airport in Uralsk. Having initially introduced direct flights to Germany back in 2003, the airline continues to enhance its connectivity in the region.

Here's a sneak peek at the planned schedule for the new flights: departing Almaty at 01:30 local time and landing in Frankfurt at 06:55 local time for outbound journeys, while inbound trips will take off from Frankfurt at 08:30 local time and touch down in Almaty at 18:55 local time.

According to Air Astana, the starting fare for a round-trip economy class ticket is priced at US$550, offering passengers a budget-friendly option to explore these two vibrant cities. The airline has been making waves with its A321LR aircraft, recently launching the longest non-stop flight for this model from Almaty to London Heathrow covering a remarkable 3,500 miles (5,632 kilometers) route.

In a strategic move to modernize its fleet, Air Astana received the first of seven A321LR aircraft from leasing firm Aercap in February 2024. This move aims to phase out its aging Boeing 757 fleet and to provide passengers with a more comfortable and efficient flying experience. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting development as Air Astana continues to expand its network and enhance travel options for passengers heading to Germany!
