Air Canada debuts direct B787 flight from Vancouver to Manila

Air Canada made history with the inaugural flight from Vancouver International Airport to Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport on April 2, 2025, establishing the first direct route between Canada and the Philippines by a Canadian carrier. The momentous Flight AC 017, which embarked from Vancouver at 13:44 local time, is currently en route to the vibrant capital of the Philippines, scheduled to touch down at 06:20 local time on April 3, 2025, showcasing Air Canada’s commitment to enhancing connections across different continents.
