Air Canada Introduces New Seasonal Montreal to Naples Flight, Fourth Service to Italy

Air Canada has just kicked off its first flight from Montréal–Trudeau International Airport to Naples-Capodichino International Airport, expanding its reach to Italy with this being their fourth service in the country. The route, operated by Air Canada's impressive Boeing B787 Dreamliner fleet, will run seasonally until October 25, 2025, offering passengers an eight-hour journey between the two destinations.

Mark Galardo, Executive Vice President & Chief Commercial Officer and President, Cargo, expressed his excitement about the new route, emphasizing how it enhances Air Canada's global network by adding the enchanting Naples as a key destination. Galardo highlighted the proximity of iconic Italian landmarks like the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii, making it easier for travelers to explore all that Naples and Southern Italy have to offer.

The launch of this new flight was celebrated at Montréal’s airport, showcasing the airline's commitment to strengthening ties between Canada and Italy. "Having served the Italian market since 2005, Air Canada remains steadfast in our commitment to fostering tourism and connecting families and businesses across Canada and Italy," Galardo noted. The airline is proud to now offer up to 39 weekly flights and over 13,000 weekly seats from Canada to Naples, Rome, Milan, and Venice this summer, providing customers with an array of options for their travels.

H.E. Alessandro Cattaneo, Italian Ambassador to Canada, commended Air Canada's new route, recognizing its potential to boost tourism and strengthen ties between the two countries. Cattaneo highlighted the upcoming America’s Cup sailing competition set to take place in Naples in 2027, predicting that the new Air Canada connection will attract numerous Canadian visitors eager to participate in this prestigious event.

If you're planning your next Italian escape, keep in mind that the four-times weekly flights between Montréal and Naples will operate on specific schedules. Flight AC882 will depart Montréal at 19:35 local time and arrive in Naples at 09:40 the following day on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Conversely, Flight AC883 will depart Naples at 11:35 local time and land in Montréal at 14:45 local time on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Bon voyage!
