Air France is setting a new standard in luxury travel with the launch of its dazzling La Première first class cabin. The French flag carrier has unveiled a groundbreaking approach to first class comfort, giving global airlines a run for their money in the competitive industry.
Pilotcenter.net News reports that on March 18, 2025, Air France showcased its innovative La Première cabins, promising an unparalleled travel experience for its most exclusive passengers. The introduction of these luxurious cabins will roll out gradually on select Boeing 777-300ER aircraft, with four lavish suites available on each flight.
Featuring an expansive nearly 3.5 square meters of space, each La Première suite offers a seat alongside a chaise longue that effortlessly transforms into a two-meter-long bed. Passengers will enjoy panoramic views from five windows and complete privacy behind a floor-to-ceiling curtain.
A representative from Air France shared, “Developed over three years, Air France’s new La Première suite features a unique and adaptable design, including a seat and a chaise longue that converts into a full bed.” The cabin's layout allows for shared experiences with adjacent suites that can be separated by an electric sliding partition.
Crafted in France with meticulous attention to detail, the suites boast a sophisticated color palette dominated by shades of gray, accented with touches of red to create a distinct and elegant ambiance. The storage solutions are cleverly designed, with floor-level compartments for luggage and footwear.
Entertainment features include dual 32-inch 4K screens, noise-canceling headphones, and various charging options including wireless stations and USB ports. The first aircraft showcasing the La Première cabin, named Épernay, will embark on its maiden voyage to John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) before expanding to other destinations like Los Angeles, Singapore, and Tokyo throughout the Summer 2025 season.
Air France's La Première service is currently available on select routes from Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG) to key destinations like New York, Dubai, and San Francisco. With this new level of luxury, Air France is cementing its reputation as a leader in first-class travel experiences.
