Alaska Airlines has recently debuted a spectacular new aircraft livery that has aviation enthusiasts and Disney fans alike buzzing with excitement. Partnering with the Disneyland Resort in California, the airline revealed the dazzling new design at Portland International Airport (PDX) on April 27, 2025. The aircraft, named ‘Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Flyer,’ took off on its maiden passenger flight to Santa Ana, California, sporting a vibrant Disney-themed look that aims to evoke a sense of adventure and inspire big dreams in its passengers.

Drawing inspiration from the beloved movie ‘The Princess and the Frog’ by Walt Disney Animation Studios, the livery features Princess Tiana prominently, capturing her bold and adventurous spirit. The stunning exterior design pays homage to Tiana's story and the new immersive ‘Tiana’s Bayou Adventure’ attraction at Disneyland Park in Anaheim, California. The aircraft, a 17-year-old Boeing 737-800 registered as N596AS, showcases intricate details reflecting the film, such as Louis the Alligator splashing among water lilies and a trail of fireflies flowing along the plane's fuselage.

Inside the cabin, passengers will find ‘Tiana’s Bayou Adventure’ snack packs available for purchase starting in the summer of 2025, further enhancing the magical experience. Eric Edge, Alaska Airlines' Vice President of Brand and Marketing, expressed the airline's commitment to creating remarkable journeys, stating that the new livery encapsulates Princess Tiana’s adventurous heart, encouraging passengers to embrace new possibilities and make lasting memories.

This unique design marks Alaska Airlines’ ninth Disneyland Resort-themed aircraft and its first featuring one of the iconic Disney Princesses. Passengers will have the opportunity to fly on ‘Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Flyer’ across Alaska Airlines’ route network for the foreseeable future, adding an extra touch of magic to their travels.

Speaking on the collaboration, Sybil Crum, Vice President of Marketing and Commercial Strategy at Disneyland Resort, highlighted the enduring partnership between Alaska Airlines and Disneyland, underscoring the shared commitment to bringing joy and happiness to passengers. The lively livery arrives just in time for Disneyland Resort's 70th anniversary celebrations, which kick off on May 16, 2025, promising a period of enchantment until the summer of 2026.

‘Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Flyer’ joins Alaska Airlines’ collection of cherished Disneyland Resort-themed liveries over the years, including ‘Mickey’s Toontown Express,’ ‘Star Wars Transport to the Disneyland Resort,’ and ‘Friendship and Beyond at Disneyland Resort.’ Each design showcases beloved Disney characters and attractions, adding a touch of magic to every journey taken aboard Alaska Airlines.
