BAA Training collaborates with Qatar Airways Group for MPL training

BAA Training, a prominent aviation training organization offering comprehensive Ab Initio and Type Rating programs, has recently secured a significant five-year partnership with Qatar Airways Group, a renowned airline known for its high aviation standards. This collaboration marks a pivotal moment for BAA Training and highlights the company's commitment to excellence in the field.

Under this strategic alliance, BAA Training will provide Multi-Crew Pilot License (MPL) training to a maximum of 150 cadets each year, with the inaugural group set to commence training in April 2025. CEO Marijus Ravoitis expressed pride in this milestone, emphasizing the organization's dedication to delivering exceptional results on a large scale. The partnership signifies the confidence Qatar Airways Group has in BAA Training and establishes the groundwork for a lasting relationship.

Clifford Chetcuti, Chief Flight Operations Officer of Qatar Airways, emphasized the significance of flight training in preparing pilots for the skies. This collaboration aims to cultivate expertise among pilots, ensuring they possess the necessary skills to operate safely and proficiently within the airline's extensive network.

The MPL training program is meticulously crafted to equip cadets with airline-specific, competency-based training, encompassing theoretical instruction, practical flight exercises, and Type Rating on advanced simulators. Graduates will emerge fully qualified for First Officer positions at Qatar Airways, armed with top-tier training and career stability.

Training will take place at BAA Training's cutting-edge facilities in Lithuania and Spain, with a comprehensive service package covering accommodation and catering to provide a seamless and high-quality training experience. This partnership solidifies BAA Training's reputation as a premier global provider of airline pilot training and underscores the shared commitment of both organizations to meeting the escalating demand for skilled flight crews in the coming years.
