Get ready for an exciting summer travel season in 2025 with Brussels Airlines! As Pilotcenter.net News reports, the national carrier of Belgium is gearing up to accommodate almost two million passengers and has some exciting updates in store.

With plans to operate a fleet of 50 aircraft this summer, compared to 44 last year, Brussels Airlines is prepared for its busiest season yet. New routes, additional aircraft, and service improvements are all part of the airline’s strategy to enhance the travel experience for passengers this summer.

Spain continues to be a top destination for Belgian travelers, with Brussels Airlines offering flights to 12 Spanish cities. Malaga, Barcelona, and Alicante are among the most popular routes, while Valencia has seen a recent surge in popularity.

Greece, Italy, and Portugal are also hotspots for Belgian travelers, with a notable increase in passengers heading to Oporto. For long-haul trips, New York and Kinshasa top the list of favorite holiday destinations for Belgians.

To meet the growing demand, Brussels Airlines has expanded its fleet with the addition of one Airbus A320 and one Airbus A330, as well as four Airbus A220 aircraft through a partnership with Air Baltic. This brings the total fleet to 50 aircraft for the summer season.

With the summer rush in mind, Brussels Airlines has hired 47 summer students as cabin crew members to assist with the increased workload. These new team members underwent the same rigorous training and selection process as regular crew members to ensure a seamless travel experience for passengers.

Dorothea von Boxberg, CEO of Brussels Airlines, expressed gratitude to the dedicated employees who work tirelessly to make every journey memorable. As the airline doubles the capacity of its bag drop area at Brussels Airport to streamline operations, passengers can look forward to smoother and more efficient service this summer.

With a fleet consisting of Airbus A319s, A320s, A320neos, A330-300s, and A220s, Brussels Airlines currently connects travelers to 91 destinations in 41 countries. As they gear up for a busy summer ahead, the airline is committed to providing a safe and seamless travel experience for all passengers.
