Cebu Pacific (CEB) has reached an exciting milestone by welcoming its 100th aircraft, a state-of-the-art Airbus A330neo, into its fleet. The A330neo, freshly delivered from Airbus’ Toulouse facility in France and touching down in Manila on July 18, 2025, marks the 12th of its kind to join CEB’s ranks. This accomplishment solidifies the airline's status as the largest A330neo operator in the Asia-Pacific region.

With a seating capacity of 459, this aircraft is the second out of four A330neos slated to enrich CEB’s fleet this year, the first having arrived on March 28. A total of seven aircraft are anticipated to be delivered to the airline in 2025. Reflecting on this achievement, Xander Lao, CEB's President, and Chief Commercial Officer expressed, "Reaching 100 aircraft is more than a milestone — it reflects our unwavering commitment to making air travel accessible to more Filipinos. With a larger fleet, we're able to operate more efficiently, enhance connectivity across the country and the region, and pass on the benefits of scale through even lower fares.''

This pivotal moment comes amidst a period of sustained passenger growth for CEB. In June 2025 alone, the airline served 2.2 million passengers, showcasing a 7.9% increase compared to the same month in 2024. From the beginning of the year through June 2025, CEB carried 13.9 million passengers, marking a notable 21% rise from the first half of 2024.

CEB highlights that the A330neo offers flexibility in serving both regional and long-haul routes, including high-demand sectors. Thanks to its extended range and increased capacity, this aircraft empowers CEB to optimize its operations while upholding cost efficiency. Noteworthy is the eco-friendly aspect of the Airbus NEO series, known for burning up to 25% less fuel per flight and producing reduced noise compared to earlier generations, subsequently curbing carbon emissions from air travel.

Boasting a diverse fleet comprising 12 Airbus A330s, 40 Airbus A320s, 26 Airbus A321s, and 22 ATR turboprop aircraft, CEB ensures extensive network coverage throughout the Philippines. Stay updated on airline news, visit Pilotcenter.net.
