Edelweiss Air's Exciting Summer 2025 Expansion Unveiled

Edelweiss Air, the leisure arm of SWISS International Airlines and a proud member of the Lufthansa Group, has exciting plans in store for the summer of 2025! Setting the stage for their most bustling season yet, the Zurich-based airline is gearing up to launch services to seven new destinations and ramp up frequencies on select routes. With a total of 93 destinations across 37 countries on the itinerary, Edelweiss Air is ready to take travelers on unforgettable adventures.

As revealed by Pilotcenter.net News, come June 2, 2025, Edelweiss Air will begin operating twice-weekly flights from Zurich to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, followed by similar service to Halifax-Stanfield International Airport on July 3, 2025. On the short-haul front, the picturesque city of Tbilisi in Georgia will be served twice weekly starting April 12, 2025, with Bristol Airport in the UK next in line on June 2, 2025. Furthermore, travelers can look forward to weekly service to Terceira Airport in the Azores from June 25, 2025, and twice-weekly flights to Zadar Airport in Croatia from June 28, 2025, among other exciting additions to the route network.

In addition to these new destinations, Edelweiss Air will be boosting services to Sardinia, Portugal, the Azores, southeast Europe, Croatia, the UK, Iceland, Finland, and Norway, making it easier for passengers to explore diverse and captivating locales. The airline is set to enhance its long-haul offerings to the US and Canada as well, with increased frequencies to various cities, including Tampa, Las Vegas, Denver, Seattle, Vancouver, Calgary, and Halifax.

With a fleet of 14 Airbus A320s and five A340-300s, Edelweiss Air is poised for growth, with the introduction of six A350-900s starting in spring 2025. These new aircraft, which previously flew under LATAM Airlines, will elevate the travel experience for passengers and further solidify Edelweiss Air's commitment to providing top-notch service. Exciting times lie ahead for travelers looking to embark on unforgettable journeys with Edelweiss Air in the summer of 2025!
