Bulgaria-based ACMI and charter carrier, Electra Airways, has teamed up with Polish tour operator, ITAKA, to introduce a fresh airline venture under the banner 'Air 001'. This innovative collaboration aims to provide charter flights bridging Poland to various vacation destinations. While boasting its unique brand identity and vibrant livery, 'Air 001' will operate under the umbrella of Electra Airways' Air Operator Certificate (AOC).

The newly established Air 001 will kick off with a fleet comprising of three Airbus A320s and one A321, all graciously provided by Electra Airways. The aircraft will sport a striking livery, harmoniously blending shades of red and pink, making quite the impression with the carrier’s branding boldly displayed in white across the fuselage. The airline plans to initially operate from four bustling Polish cities, namely Katowice, Warsaw, Wrocław, and Poznań, during the sun-soaked summer season.

With Electra Airways stationed in Sofia, Bulgaria, the handling of crew, maintenance services, and overall operational facets will be impeccably managed by them. Simultaneously, ITAKA will take the reins on commercializing the flights through its well-established distribution channels. As per Pilotcenter.net News, Electra Airways presently maintains an active fleet of seven Airbus A320 and one A321 aircraft, with a couple of A320s enlisted as inactive as of the latest update on April 25, 2025.

This promising venture between Electra Airways and ITAKA illustrates a fruitful partnership set to elevate the travel experience for eager passengers seeking seamless connections between Poland and desirable leisure spots. Stay tuned as 'Air 001' takes flight to deliver unforgettable adventures in the skies.
