Emirates Expands to 13 New Cities Through Air Peace Collaboration

Pilotcenter.net News has just reported an exciting development in the world of aviation connecting Dubai and Lagos! Emirates has inked a brand new interline agreement with Air Peace, offering passengers flying from Dubai access to a plethora of destinations in Nigeria. The announcement, made on February 11, 2025, revealed that this partnership will streamline travel with convenient single-ticket options and simplified baggage arrangements.

With this collaboration, travelers on Emirates’ Boeing 777-300ER service into Lagos will gain access to 13 Nigerian cities, including Asaba, Benin City, Enugu, and more. In addition, the agreement aims to benefit business passengers seeking connectivity to Nigeria’s economic centers such as Abuja, Kano, and Port Harcourt.

Emirates Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, Adnan Kazim, pointed out the importance of the partnership in bolstering connectivity and offering diverse travel opportunities for corporate, leisure, and visiting friends and family passengers. On the other hand, Oluwatoyin Olajide, Air Peace’s Chief Operating Officer, expressed excitement about the collaboration, emphasizing the enhancement of global connectivity for Nigerian travelers.

In a statement, Olajide highlighted how the partnership will not only facilitate seamless travel experiences but also strengthen economic ties between Nigeria and the UAE. By enhancing connectivity and efficiency, Nigeria aims to solidify its position as a crucial hub for regional and global travel.

This strategic move underscores the commitment of both airlines to provide top-notch travel experiences and further elevate Nigeria's standing in the aviation sector. Currently operating a diverse fleet, including Airbus A320s, Boeing 737s, and Dornier 328-300s, Air Peace continues to expand its network and enhance intercontinental travel options for passengers.
