Emirates has recently announced the exciting launch of daily direct flights from Dubai International Airport (DXB) to Shenzhen Bao’an International Airport (SZX) utilizing its revamped Boeing 777-300ER aircraft. The inaugural flight, known as EK 328, touched down in Shenzhen on July 1, 2025, and was warmly welcomed by jubilant airline and city representatives, as well as members of the media.

Shenzhen is undeniably a beacon of innovation in China, and now travelers can experience this dynamic city firsthand with convenient daily flights from Dubai. Passengers aboard the maiden Dubai-Shenzhen flight were treated to special gifts and certificates to commemorate this special occasion. Notably, Shenzhen becomes Emirates’ fourth destination in China, joining the ranks of Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou. The airline currently operates a total of 42 weekly flights to various Chinese cities.

The refurbished Boeing 777-300ER offers a luxurious travel experience with first-class private suites, comfortable lie-flat business class seats, a premium economy section, and a spacious economy class cabin. The new business class setup with a 1-2-1 layout ensures that every passenger has direct aisle access, enhancing comfort and convenience.

Excitement buzzes around this new route to Shenzhen, as Emirates solidifies its presence in the Chinese mainland. Adnan Kazim, Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer for Emirates, expressed the airline's enthusiasm, stating, “We are thrilled to introduce our new daily service to Shenzhen, a city known for its dynamism and innovation. This milestone underscores Emirates' commitment to expanding our footprint in China and supporting the country’s trade and tourism aspirations." Kazim added that the new service reflects the growing China-UAE relations and helps foster connections within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area's innovation corridor, which serves as an international hub for innovation and technology.
