Etihad Airways' impressive Airbus A380 has just made its grand debut at Toronto's Pearson International Airport on June 24, 2025. This momentous occasion marks the commencement of Etihad's daily A380 service connecting Toronto to Abu Dhabi International Airport. The arrival of Etihad's iconic A380 in Toronto was celebrated with a spectacular water salute, highlighting the significance of this inaugural flight.

Previously, Etihad operated the Abu Dhabi-Toronto route using its fleet of A350-1000 aircraft. However, the airline has now upgraded its service to include the luxurious A380, showcasing exclusive offerings like the First Apartments and The Residence – a one-of-a-kind three-room suite in the sky. This enhanced service not only elevates the travel experience but also demonstrates Etihad's commitment to providing top-notch services to its passengers.

The A380's spacious interior accommodates a total of 486 seats spread across four distinct cabins. Among these are the extravagant features such as The Residence, offering a private three-room suite, and the First Apartments with fully enclosed suites and luxurious amenities. Additionally, the Business Studios provide a premium experience with lie-flat seats and exclusive access to The Lobby, a unique serviced lounge in the sky, while the Economy Smart Seats offer comfort and convenience to all passengers.

The decision to introduce the A380 on the Abu Dhabi-Toronto route stems from the high demand for travel between the UAE and Canada.
