Etihad Airways has recently welcomed its latest addition to the fleet, the sixth Airbus A340 aircraft, boosting its growing collection. The new plane completed its journey from Airbus' base in Toulouse, France, arriving over the weekend of April 12-13, 2025. The A350-1000, esteemed as one of Etihad's newer and highly fuel-efficient planes, is presently serving passengers flying from Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport (AUH) to various destinations.

Exciting news for Etihad enthusiasts: the airline has announced plans to introduce the A350 on routes to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta Airport (ATL) by the summer of 2025, marking its sixth entry point into North America. The passenger feedback on Etihad’s A350 has been overwhelmingly positive, particularly highlighting the luxurious business class amenities. These include private cabin doors, fully-flat bed seating, 18.5-inch individual touch screens, and convenient wireless charging ports.
