Exciting News: TAP Air Portugal Introduces Three New Transatlantic Routes for Summer 2025

TAP Air Portugal recently revealed its exciting new transatlantic routes set to debut in the upcoming summer season of 2025. The airline is expanding its network with non-stop flights connecting Lisbon to Los Angeles, Porto to Boston, and a weekly service from Terceira in the Azores archipelago to San Francisco.
Commencing on May 16, 2025, the flights from Lisbon to Los Angeles will initially operate on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, with a Saturday frequency added later. The journey covers approximately 5,690 miles and is estimated to take 12 hours and 45 minutes. Returning from Los Angeles to Lisbon, travelers can expect the flight to last until the following day, making it a convenient travel option with direct services.
On the other hand, flights between Porto and Boston are scheduled to begin on May 14, 2025, with departures on Mondays, Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays until October 25, 2025. The flight time for this route is around seven hours and 25 minutes, providing a seamless connection between the two cities.
Additionally, starting June 3, 2025, TAP Air Portugal will introduce a new stopover option on one of its weekly flights between Lisbon and San Francisco. This stopover will be located on Terceira Island in the Azores, offering passengers a unique travel experience and an opportunity to connect with the West Coast of the US like never before.
