GoJet Airlines jet slides off taxiway at Lambert Airport due to icy weather

The flight, carrying 27 passengers along with the crew, skidded off an icy taxiway after touching down at the airport in Missouri. According to WSAZ News, the United regional jet operated by GoJet Airlines had departed from Washington Dulles International Airport before arriving at Lambert Airport around 10:50 local time.
Upon landing on Runway 11-29 at Lambert Airport, the aircraft veered off onto a grassy area adjacent to the taxiway. Fortunately, GoJet Airlines confirmed that there were no injuries among the passengers and crew, and emergency services promptly greeted the plane. The airline reassured that all passengers were handled safely following the incident involving the United Express CRJ550 (N549GJ) during its landing in the snowy conditions.
A spokesperson for GoJet Airlines mentioned in a statement seen by WSAZ News, "GoJet Airlines flight 4427 slid off the taxiway before coming to a stop. All passengers were safely transported to the terminal." So far, airport authorities have not disclosed further details regarding the occurrence. Weather data from the National Weather Service indicated that a storm might have contributed to poor visibility, with a mix of snow and freezing rain showers affecting the area on the evening of February 12, 2025.
