Throughout the year, the airline carried a total of 82 million passengers, marking an 11% increase from the previous year. This significant achievement not only represents the highest number of passengers transported in the company's history but also signals a remarkable comeback following the challenges posed by the pandemic.
Within LATAM's Spanish-speaking domestic markets in Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru, the airline transported 31.1 million passengers in 2024, reflecting an 11.1% rise from 2023. In Brazil, LATAM's core domestic market, the airline carried 34.84 million passengers, showing a 5.6% increase over the previous year. Notably, the international sector experienced the most substantial growth, with 16.06 million passengers flown in 2024, a notable 24.3% surge.
A key driver behind LATAM's growth has been its strategic expansion of international routes and increased network capacity. The airline's focus on introducing new routes and enhancing its offerings has played a pivotal role in attracting both leisure and business travelers. Notable new international routes launched in 2024 include flights from Lima to Montego Bay and Rosario, as well as Santiago de Chile to Bariloche, Recife, and Punta del Este.

Additionally, LATAM Group saw significant growth in its cargo segment, with overall capacity increasing by 11.8% in December 2024.
