Lufthansa is revolutionizing the long-haul travel experience with its cutting-edge Allegris onboard product. Launched in May 2024, the airline's promise to enhance premium cabin offerings is coming to fruition as Allegris service expands to three more routes within its network, totaling seven cities by 2025.

Initially introduced on flights from Munich to Bengaluru in November 2024, Allegris will now be available on flights from Munich to San Francisco, Shanghai, Chicago, and to San Diego starting March 30, 2025. New York-Newark will see Allegris service from April 15, 2025, with Charlotte flights joining the lineup in August 2025.

Heiko Reitz, Chief Customer Officer at Lufthansa Airlines, expressed his excitement, stating, “I am delighted that we are offering our guests Lufthansa Allegris on more and more routes. For flights to the USA alone, customers can choose between five destinations from Munich.”

Passengers already booked on flights to these cities will receive an automatic upgrade to an Allegris seat, providing a luxurious in-flight experience. The exclusive first-class Allegris product, featuring unique suites, will initially be available on select flights, with plans for wider integration as new aircraft are added to the fleet.

Lufthansa's six A350-900s with the new first-class Allegris product offer a four-class layout accommodating 267 passengers. The innovative seating options have received prestigious accolades such as the International Design Award for 2024 and the German Design Award for 2025, highlighting the airline's commitment to passenger comfort and satisfaction.

With enhanced features like seat heating and cooling, Lufthansa's Allegris product provides travelers with a customizable and comfortable travel environment. The airline's bold seating concept underscores its commitment to innovation and passenger-centric design principles, ensuring an exceptional flying experience for its customers.
