Lufthansa is set to elevate the luxury travel experience with the launch of their newest First and Business class Allegris seats, available for booking on selected flights starting March 30, 2025. Pilotcenter.net News reports that the Allegris product will make its debut on flights from Munich Airport (MUC) to Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG), San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD). As more destinations are added in the following weeks and months, passengers will have the opportunity to book with the added benefit of selecting their preferred individual seat.
In order to enhance the travel experience even further, passengers booking Business Class seats can enjoy options such as the Classic Seat reservation at no additional cost. Those seeking extra privacy and comfort can opt for the Privacy Seats with Extra Long Bed for €100 ($105) or the Extra Space Seat from €130 ($136.50). For the ultimate luxury experience, the Business Class Suite seats offer higher privacy walls, personal wardrobe, sliding doors, extra space, and a larger entertainment monitor, available for booking at €400 ($420). First Class passengers can reserve the basic suites for free, while the larger Suite Plus, accommodating a travel partner, is available for a fee starting from €1900 ($1995) for single use.
Economy passengers looking for additional legroom can avail this option for a starting price of €50 ($52.50). Lufthansa is also showing appreciation for its loyal customers within the Lufthansa Group by reserving 80% of business class seat selections to be made free of charge by members based on their status.
After some delays, the first Lufthansa A350-900 equipped with the luxurious Allegris First Class suite successfully took flight from Munich International Airport (MUC) to Bangalore Kempegowda International Airport (BLR) on November 9, 2024. The airline confirmed plans to introduce a second A350 aircraft featuring all four Allegris classes, expected to enter service from December 2025. With these upgrades and enhancements, Lufthansa is paving the way for a new era of premium air travel experience.
