Exciting News: Oman Air Joins oneworld Alliance

In a move set to enhance global travel opportunities, Oman Air officially became the 15th member airline of the prestigious oneworld global airline alliance on June 30, 2025. The Middle Eastern carrier’s integration into the network aims to bolster the alliance’s presence in the Middle East and create new avenues for travelers worldwide, according to a statement by oneworld.

Starting July 1, 2025, oneworld customers will enjoy an expanded range of destinations courtesy of Oman Air's ever-growing global route map. This includes the addition of new direct flights from Muscat to Amsterdam. As a full-fledged member of the alliance, Oman Air is prepared to offer oneworld frequent flyers a host of benefits, such as earning and redeeming miles, status points accrual, expedited check-in and boarding services, as well as access to premium lounges.

With its main hub at Muscat International Airport, Oman Air presently serves 42 destinations across 22 countries globally, connecting key oneworld hubs worldwide. Additionally, the airline continues to expand its route network to include new destinations like Duqm and Khasab in Oman, along with Chittagong in Bangladesh.
