Qantas reveals festive airplane liveries: Dasher-8 and Roo-dolph

Just in time for the festive season, Qantas has unveiled two dazzling new liveries sure to spread cheer in the skies. Meet the QantasLink Q400 Dash-8, affectionately known as "Dasher-8", and the Boeing B737, now dubbed "Roo-dolph".

But the excitement doesn't stop there - passengers flying on these merry aircraft throughout December 2024 will receive double Qantas Points, adding an extra dash of joy to their travels. And let's not forget about the Qantas Freight A321 decked out in a 'Santa's Freight' livery, all set to deliver presents and holiday cheer across Australia in the weeks ahead.

Inside the cabin, passengers will be treated to a festive experience like never before. With new seasonal first and business class inflight menus available on international flights, as well as a refreshed beer selection across the network, the holiday spirit is truly soaring high.

"We know our customers, especially the little ones, enjoy the magic of flying on our special festive planes, and we are thrilled to bring them back in 2024," shared Qantas Group Chief Customer and Digital Officer, Catriona Larritt. "Our teams have been hard at work preparing to assist millions of customers in reuniting with their loved ones this holiday season," Larritt added.

As Christmas approaches, passengers can look forward to indulging in traditional festive treats and libations at selected Qantas lounges, including a special Christmas cocktail to raise a toast to the season.
