Qatar Airways Expands Global Network with Additional Flights

Qatar Airways is soaring to new heights with the announcement of additional flights to various destinations across its network to keep up with the growing demand for international travel. The Doha-based carrier is set to enhance its international footprint, offering services to over 170 destinations worldwide in response to the rising need for connectivity.

In its latest move, Qatar Airways is ramping up its flight frequencies to key cities in Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East throughout 2025. The airline is boosting its services to cater to the influx of travelers looking to explore a multitude of destinations. From Europe to Africa and the Middle East, Qatar Airways is on a mission to provide passengers with greater flexibility and seamless connections.

In Europe, several cities are slated to benefit from increased services by the airline. For instance, Amsterdam will see flight frequencies rise from seven to 11 flights per week. Meanwhile, London-Heathrow will be boosted from 49 to 56 weekly flights, enhancing travel options for passengers. Additionally, cities like Madrid in Spain, Larnaca in Cyprus, and more will also experience a surge in flight frequencies, ensuring passengers have more choices when planning their travels.

Antinori further revealed Qatar Airways' plans to bolster its fleet by placing a significant order for wide-body jets in the near future to support its long-term growth strategy. He noted, “To secure the growth of tomorrow by continuing to have a very strong and the best fleet in the industry, our CEO is working on the RFP (request for proposal) with the aircraft manufacturer to place a big order soon.”
