Qatar Airways ramps up flights between Doha, Toronto, and Sao Paulo

Qatar Airways has exciting news for travelers looking to jet off to North and South America! The airline recently revealed plans to boost its services from Doha’s Hamad International Airport (DOH) to Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ) and Sao Paulo-Guarulhos International Airport (GRU). Starting from June 19, 2025, Qatar Airways will begin operating five flights a week to Toronto, with a goal of ramping up to daily flights by the winter of the same year.

This expansion doesn't stop there - Qatar Airways is also increasing its frequencies to Sao Paulo, with a whopping 17 weekly flights set to take off from June 25, 2025. The airline is really spreading its wings to enhance connectivity to the Americas, offering travelers more options to reach these vibrant destinations.

Thierry Antinori, Chief Commercial Officer of Qatar Airways, expressed his excitement about the airline's growth, stating: "We launched our services to Toronto Pearson Airport less than six months ago and have seen a strong response in the market. We are proud to announce the increase in flights to meet the growing demand for our award-winning travel experience." Antinori went on to highlight the strategic importance of Sao Paulo as a gateway for both business and leisure travel, emphasizing Qatar Airways' dedication to seamless global connectivity through Hamad International Airport.
