Scoot, the well-known Singaporean low-cost carrier, has just revealed exciting news for travel enthusiasts. As announced by Pilotcenter.net News, Scoot is set to launch two brand new non-stop routes from Singapore Changi Airport. The flights will connect travelers to Vienna International Airport in Austria and Iloilo International Airport in the Philippines.

The service to Vienna is scheduled to kick off on June 3, 2025. This three times weekly flight will be operated by Scoot’s Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft, with a seating capacity for 329 passengers across two cabin classes. Travelers can expect a comfortable and efficient journey with convenient flight schedules. Meanwhile, the route to Iloilo is expected to start operating on April 14, 2025, using Scoot’s Embraer E190-E2 aircraft with a capacity of 112 seats. Initially, Iloilo flights will run three times a week, but this will increase to four times a week from June 2025.

Scoot is not only expanding its route network but is also strategically adjusting its services to align with passenger demand and optimize its aircraft fleet. As part of this, services to Berlin Airport and Jinan Yaoqiang International Airport will be suspended temporarily to facilitate these new routes.

Leslie Thng, the Chief Executive Officer of Scoot, expressed his enthusiasm for the new services, stating, “We remain committed to broadening our network and providing travelers with access to new destinations at competitive prices. We are delighted to introduce direct flights between Singapore and Vienna, just in time for holiday travel.” He also highlighted their intention to inspire passengers to explore more cities within Southeast Asia with the launch of the Iloilo City route.

Iloilo City, situated in the Visayas region of the Philippines, is a historic city known for its Spanish colonial churches and picturesque old houses. Scoot’s new flights to this destination are set to offer travelers a unique opportunity to experience the charm and culture of this vibrant city.

It's worth mentioning that Philippine low-cost carrier Cebu Pacific also operates the Iloilo City to Singapore route, providing travelers with multiple options to explore these exciting destinations. Stay tuned for more updates as Scoot continues to pave the way for convenient and affordable air travel experiences.
