Turkish Airlines has soared to new heights by achieving a prestigious Guinness World Records title for flying to the most countries in the world. Recognized for this outstanding feat since 2012, Turkish Airlines has now been formally acknowledged by Guinness World Records for its global reach. The official presentation of the record certificate took place at Santiago Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport (SCL) following the airline’s inaugural flight to Chile, with top executives from Turkish Airlines and representatives from Guinness World Records in attendance.

Earning the title of "Most Countries Flown to by an Airline" according to the Guinness World Record evaluation criteria, Turkish Airlines has set a remarkable record with flights to 120 countries within the past 12 months. CEO of Turkish Airlines, Bilal Ekşi, expressed his delight at receiving the Guinness World Records title during the celebratory event in Chile. Ekşi shared, “We are thrilled to be in Santiago, Chile, our newest route launched today, and to be honored with the Guinness World Records title for the Most Countries Flown to by an Airline.
