Vietjet, the popular low-cost carrier from Vietnam, has recently introduced its inaugural flight connecting the bustling capital city of Hanoi with Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia. The much-anticipated flight, coded as VJ 905, took off from Hanoi’s Noi Bai International Airport (HAN) at 07:20 local time on November 28, 2024. Operating an Airbus A320, the aircraft touched down at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL) at 11:20 local time, completing the journey in under three hours.

The introduction of the Hanoi – Kuala Lumpur route marks a significant milestone for Vietjet, with a scheduled frequency of seven return flights weekly. This increase effectively doubles the number of flights between Vietnam and Malaysia to a total of 14 return flights per week, addressing the growing demand for travel between the two countries.

To celebrate the launch of this new air link, Vietjet has kicked off a special promotion in conjunction with their 'Green Friday' campaign. For a limited time, travelers can snag international flight tickets for an unbeatable price of VND 0.00 by booking through the Vietjet website or mobile app until December 31, 2024.

Vietjet's 'Green Friday' initiative, launched in November 2024, is not only about offering great deals but also about promoting eco-friendly travel practices and environmental awareness. By spearheading sustainable development efforts and pledging to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050 in alignment with their ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) goals, Vietjet solidifies its commitment to the environment and sets the standard for eco-conscious flying practices in the airline industry.
