About Us

Honolulu Soaring, established in 1970, is Hawaii's oldest and largest soaring operation, based at Dillingham Airfield on Oahu’s North Shore. Founded by Bill Star and Sam Bleadon, the company offers piloted scenic glider tours, aerobatic flights, and introductory flying lessons. With experienced FAA-certified pilots, guests can enjoy breathtaking views of Oahu's North Shore from bubble-topped sailplanes. The school provides various flight packages, including hands-on mini lessons and aerobatic rides, ensuring a unique and thrilling experience for all passengers. Operating daily from 10 am to 5:30 pm, Honolulu Soaring offers an unforgettable way to see the island from a bird’s-eye perspective.
