About Us
The Lowveld Aero Club, founded in 1956 under the chairmanship of Bob Snaddon, is the oldest Aviation Training Organisation (ATO) in the Lowveld area. Established with a rich history, the club has played a pivotal role in the aviation sector of the region. It offers comprehensive training programs, including Full Multi-Engine Pilot (MEP) and Private Pilot (PPL) licenses on three-axis aircraft, with both part-time and full-time courses available. The club also provides accommodation for students, ensuring a convenient and focused learning environment. As a cornerstone of aviation in the Lowveld, the Lowveld Aero Club continues to nurture aspiring pilots and contribute to the growth of aviation in South Africa.
