The Malaysian Flying Academy (MFA), established in 1983 as part of the Royal Selangor Flying Club, is a pioneer in aviation training in Malaysia. Initially operating from the Sungai Besi Military Airbase, MFA was later acquired by the Syed Kechik Group of Companies and relocated to Batu Berendam, Melaka. Accredited by the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) and recognized by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), MFA offers comprehensive flight training programs, including ground school and simulator training. With a fleet of 17 aircraft, MFA has trained over 2000 pilots who now work with leading airlines globally. Their mission, "Higher Standards Always," reflects a commitment to preparing pilots with a balance of hard and soft skills, emphasizing safety, teamwork, and resilience. MFA consistently updates its training to meet industry needs, ensuring graduates are well-prepared for careers in commercial aviation.
