We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Flight Instructor (CFI) & Designated Examiner to lead our flight training programs and instructor team.
Job Summary:
The Chief Flight Instructor will be responsible for overseeing all flight training activities, ensuring compliance with DGCA regulations, and upholding the highest standards of safety and instruction. The CFI will mentor instructors, monitor student progress, and serve as the principal authority for all flight instructional matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all flight training operations in accordance with DGCA CARs and internal procedures.
- Supervise, train, and standardize the flight instructor team.
- Conduct check rides, instructor assessments, and training quality evaluations.
- Coordinate with ground instructors, DGCA authorities, and the Accountable Manager for regulatory matters.
- Ensure accurate record-keeping, documentation, and audit readiness.
- Foster a strong safety culture and uphold instructional excellence.
- Contribute to course development, SOP improvements, and ongoing operational enhancements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 3,000 hours of total flying experience, with significant instructional time on:
- Tecnam P-Mentor
- Tecnam P2008JC MKII
- Tecnam P2006T
- Diamond DA40 / DA42 series
- Valid EASA or FAA Flight Instructor License.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Flight Instructor, preferably in a senior or CFI role.
- Strong understanding of DGCA regulations, international flight training standards, and safety systems.
- Proven leadership in managing multi-type fleets and diverse instructor teams.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
