Tasks
- As a member of the SWISS Reporting Office, you will be responsible for all protection issues for our A330/A340/A350 fleet. Serving between our Back Office and Fleet Management, you will determine the risk landscape, manage our SRS and distil safety-relevant information.
- Assisting and advising the Fleet Chief Long-Haul on all protection issues
- Assessing SRS reports in terms of their risk relevance
- Informing Airbus Long-Haul FCMs on safety issues and collaborating in associated publications
- Maintaining the fleet’s Hazard List and monitoring its risk exposure
- Supporting and promoting our SWISS safety culture.
- Collaborating with other faculties from the SWISS Reporting Office to foster an integrated protection management

Requirements
With your trustworthy nature, winning personality and commitment, you are the safety officer of our Fleet Chief Long-Haul. As such, you are the prime contact for all our Airbus Long-Haul pilots on any safety issues.
- A well-qualified and experienced CMD who is close to (early) retirement or recently retired
- A thorough familiarization with the ‘production versus protection’ issue
- A respected and trusted individual
- Integrity, a keen sense of responsibility and a trustworthy nature
- A cooperative and consensus-minded approach, but with assertiveness where needed
- A willingness to ‘go the extra mile’
- Very good spoken and written German and English skills
