Job Description
Mission
As a Synthetic Flight Instructor & Course designer, you will perform the following duties:
- Represent and act on behalf of the Training Manager
- Perform training session with customers on different Full Flight Simulator in accordance with training program
- Develop with customers dedicated courses and programs
- Provide update to existing programs & courseware
- Manage dedicated projects within flight training, from project creation to deployment
- Provide effective oversight and proactive management programs
- Identify and advise the training manager on emerging issues and opportunities for training program enhancement
- Coordinate with Simaero ATO Postholders and staff to identify operational needs and liaise with the Training Manager and/or other departments as needed to help satisfy those needs
- Identify and propagate best practices, assess the impact of proposed changes, and facilitate change within Simaero ATO
- Monitor and maintain appropriate operational data to help guide business decisions
- Monitor, review, and act upon applicable regulatory, customer, and other external guidance related to Simaero ATO content and delivery
- Facilitate and assist in the implementation of Simaero ATO instructor standardization policies across programs
- Monitor the quality of training delivery and take or direct action to correct any existing or potential discrepancies or deficiencies
- Coordinate with the Standards, Compliance and Regulatory departments to assist in maintaining local alignment with Simaero Network
- Provide guidance and assistance in the development and implementation of new training programs
- Maintain Instructors qualifications when applicable
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Training Manager
- Ensure customer relation: Review and follow up on customer satisfaction surveys other feedback and, when required, act to ensure that training delivery meets or exceeds customer and client expectations
- Maintain a concentrated customer/client orientation, often under adverse circumstances

Qualifications
- High school degree.
- Field: Flight Training
- Level: Hold or have held an EASA commercial pilot license or ATPL with a Synthetic Flight Instructor qualification (multi fleet qualification Airbus/Boeing is a plus)
- Previous experience on, MPA Aircraft (1500 hours min), CBTA/EBT experience, Program development (ISD)
Required Skills
- Business-orientated and ambitious mindset
- Fluency in English and French, both written and spoken, knowledge of a third language is an advantage.
- Excellent representation, communication, organization, and PC user skills.
- Ability to build rapport with customers and close sales.
- Good negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Initiative, responsible, result-oriented, and customer-focused personality.
- A strong advantage is some knowledge and background about aviation training services.
