Tasks
We are looking for suitable applicants to fill the position of Technical Pilot A320. As the interface between the technical department, fleet management, and the aircraft manufacturer, you mediate diverse interests while ensuring safe and compliant A320 operations in line with legal requirements.
- Maintaining relations with authorities, applying for approvals and coordinating with them
- Responsibility over the editorial process of the Operation Manual including the Minimum Equipment List (MEL) and MEL Control Board
- Organization of Maintenance Check Flights including documentation processes, selection and training of pilots
- Coordination and organization of Customer Acceptance Flights with fleet management, the responsible CAMO and other departments
- Checking technical requirements for new acquisitions, conversions and maintenance
- Coordination of technical publications for our Flight Crews
- Maintaining regular exchange with technical pilots within and outside the Lufthansa Group
- Participation in technical meetings and close cooperation with technical fleet management and relevant departments

Requirements
- Active pilot on A320 (incl. all relevant licenses)
- Degree from a technical university/university of applied sciences, preferably with a focus on aviation technology
- Alternatively, equally applicable knowledge and skills in an operational department of an aviation company
- In-depth knowledge on technical background of the A320 Family
- In-depth knowledge of flight operations processes
- Familiarity with the relevant aviation laws and regulations
- Proficiency in SMS
