An exciting development in the aviation world has taken place as AnimaWings recently received Romania's inaugural Airbus A220-300 directly from Airbus' Mirabel facility in Canada. This state-of-the-art aircraft represents the first of four set to join AnimaWings' ever-expanding fleet, thanks to a deal inked with American lessor Azorra.

Marius Pandel, Co-Owner of AnimaWings, expressed his enthusiasm at the arrival of the A220-300, emphasizing how this addition aligns perfectly with the company's growth strategy. In his words, "Welcoming our first Airbus A220-300 marks a significant milestone in our growth strategy, allowing us to modernize our operations and deliver exceptional travel experiences for our customers."

The partnership between AnimaWings and Azorra was crucial in making this advancement a reality, with Pandel praising Azorra for their expertise and collaborative efforts in shaping the future of AnimaWings' fleet. Additionally, Airbus Canada's CEO, BenoƮt Schultz, highlighted the significance of this delivery for the A220 program, positioning AnimaWings as the tenth A220 operator in Europe.

The Airbus A220-300 is renowned for its innovative cabin features, promising AnimaWings' passengers a superior flying experience while also boasting a remarkable 25% reduction in CO2 emissions per seat compared to previous aircraft generations. This aligns well with AnimaWings' commitment to sustainable and efficient air travel.

Reflecting on this milestone, John Evans, CEO and Founder of Azorra, expressed pride in delivering the first A220-300 to AnimaWings, underscoring the aircraft's top-tier performance and efficiency. Evans acknowledged Airbus's crucial role in this achievement and emphasized the A220-300's potential to support AnimaWings' growth objectives, predicting a pivotal role for the aircraft in Romania's aviation landscape.

With renowned airlines like Lufthansa, Egyptair, Delta Air Lines, and airBaltic already operating the A220-300, AnimaWings joins an esteemed group of carriers benefitting from this cutting-edge aircraft. Originally developed by Bombardier and now under Airbus's banner following a 2018 acquisition, the A220-300 promises to revolutionize the aviation industry with its advanced features and eco-friendly design.
