Pilotcenter.net News shares an exciting update on China Southern Airlines’ inaugural flight from Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport to Beijing Daxing International Airport. Departing on December 13, 2024, Flight CZ 5026 is currently en route, expected to land in Beijing on December 14, 2024, after a journey of approximately 10 hours and 58 minutes.

Using its Airbus A330 aircraft, the carrier offers a premium experience with 28 business class seats and 258 economy class seats. Initially, the flights between Sydney and Beijing will run four times a week before potentially increasing frequency after the first 10 weeks of operation.

Beijing Daxing International Airport, opened in September 2019, is situated more than 100 kilometers away from Beijing Capital International Airport. This airport, known for its impressive single-building terminal design, resembles a starfish due to its expansive layout spanning over a kilometer. Currently ranked as the sixth-largest airport globally in terms of area size at 47 square kilometers, Beijing Daxing International Airport aims to strengthen connectivity between Australia and China, further solidifying Sydney's role as a key entry point to the vibrant Chinese market.

China Southern Airlines' decision to introduce this new route not only connects two major cities but also enhances travel options for passengers seeking seamless connectivity between Australia and China. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting development!
