Jetstar Airways has just made traveling between Australia and the Philippines more convenient by introducing direct flights from Perth Airport to Manila International Airport, as well as from Brisbane Airport to Cebu Mactan International Airport. The flights from Perth to Manila will be available throughout the year, whereas the Brisbane to Cebu route will be seasonal. Operating three times a week, these flights will be utilizing Jetstar's state-of-the-art Airbus A321LR aircraft, known for their reduced noise levels and improved fuel efficiency.

This strategic move by the airline is a part of its ambitious plan to widen its presence across the Asia-Pacific region. Since June 2024, Jetstar has either launched or revealed plans for 20 new routes, showcasing its commitment to growth. By investing in the latest Airbus A321LR and A320neo planes, as well as reallocating its Boeing 787 Dreamliners for longer flights, Jetstar aims to offer customers a diverse range of travel options at affordable prices.

Excited about the development, Jetstar Group CEO Stephanie Tully expressed, "The launch of low fares direct flights to the Philippines is an exciting milestone, unlocking two amazing destinations for Aussie travelers. From the pristine beaches of Cebu to the vibrant energy of Manila, these new routes offer greater value options for an overseas holiday." With the increasing demand for budget-friendly international travel, Jetstar's expansion plans, coupled with a fleet of new aircraft, are set to provide more opportunities for travelers to explore new destinations without breaking the bank.
