Lufthansa, the renowned German flag carrier, recently welcomed its first Boeing 787-9 equipped with the luxurious Allegris cabin experience. The new aircraft, marked with registration D-ABPF, touched down at Frankfurt Airport after a long-haul journey from Boeing's manufacturing base in Everett, Washington. Pilotcenter.net News reports that this state-of-the-art Dreamliner will soon make its debut on the route to Toronto Pearson International Airport in Canada, showcasing the cutting-edge features of the Allegris cabin.

Allegris represents Lufthansa's premium offering, boasting lavish private First Class suites and a revamped Business Class tailored to suit the needs of diverse travelers. Despite initial challenges with the supply chain, Allegris has already been successfully introduced on the airline's A350-900 fleet based in Munich. Now, with the addition of the new Boeing 787-9, Lufthansa is set to elevate the passenger experience on its Frankfurt-based aircraft as well.

Looking ahead, Lufthansa aims to outfit a significant portion of its widebody fleet with the Allegris cabin, including the iconic Boeing 747-8i aircraft undergoing retrofitting. Currently operating five Boeing 787-9s, Lufthansa has a substantial order of 34 more, with deliveries scheduled over the next few years. By the end of 2025, nine additional B787-9s are expected to join the fleet, paving the way for an expanded presence of Allegris across the airline's long-haul services. Stay tuned for an enhanced flying experience with Lufthansa's Allegris-equipped aircraft in the near future!
